“It felt really rewarding to know that I had given something to the community and I would definitely like to go back to the vineyard and help if I have any free time on my hands. I’d also be willing to give other projects ago as this experience was such a good one.” Elizabeth, DHL

“Having spent a day at the vineyard pruning back the vines and talking to the other volunteers, you begin to see how such an exercise benefits an individual, it is a time to reflect whilst you’re working, the physical work involved leaves you feeling like you’ve done a days work whilst your mind is somehow free-er and less congested . It was a pleasure to be involved in this project and I thoroughly enjoyed the day, learning about the different grape varieties and what they are used for was informative.” Anna, DHL

“We had a fabulous day yesterday - the sunshine helped of course, but the work was challenging and somehow still quite relaxing. I enjoyed it very much indeed, and so did the apprentices. Thanks for an excellent briefing session.” Wrest Park Upper Gardens & Apprentices Manager
