Please help with our grape harvest on Saturday 8th October
Book your place now!
Yes, the date has been set, secateurs sharpened, and crates ready to go -  and excitement is mounting as we prepare for this year's grape-picking!

Harvest day is hard work but it is always a lot of fun and immensely satisfying. We start at 8.30 am so that we can get the lorry away to the winery by around 3pm. We'll be laying on a delicious lunch with wine, and finish picking in the afternoon depending on progress. Full instruction will be given so newcomers are very welcome, and it will also be lovely to catch up with those of you who are veterans. This year we'll be picking on:

Saturday 8th October.  Arrive at 8.30am to meet your fellow pickers and for the the briefing session by Derek Smedley, Master of Wine.

If you can help, please email me as soon as possible to book your place  - last year we soon became full up!  If you can reply by Monday 3rd October that would be really helpful because we need to know numbers for catering.  Please reply to:  info@wardenvineyard.org.uk or tel 07981 113714.

We will then send pickers all the info about the day and what you will need. Please note that we normally need to pick whatever the weather on the day throws at us.  If exceptionally we do have to cancel, we will contact all pickers.
